My name is Katheryn Singleton and I am a student at West Virginia University studying journalism and human services. I am a West Virginia native with so much love and pride for this state I call home.
I always knew I would study journalism because I am passionate about communication, connection, and the bridge it builds between each of us and the world. With the tools I have gained from my studies in journalism, I have also decided to pursue human services. The two are closely related because at the heart of journalism is the desire to empathize, connect and seek truth and justice, and that is my commitment to others.
